Cancellation & refund policy

Last updated: 10 April 2026. Because we sell tickets from many different airlines and rooms from many different hotels, specific conditions vary by booking. The rules below apply to most of what we sell.

48-hour free cancellation (most packages)

For most of our standard packages, you can cancel free of charge up to 48 hours before the departure flight. Deep-discount and all-inclusive non-refundable rates are the exception — these are clearly marked on the quote.

Change requests before departure

Dates, passenger names, and room types can usually be changed before departure. Airline and hotel change fees (if any) are passed through at cost. We do not charge a separate SCAL service fee for changes.

Non-refundable components

Some very cheap fares and promotional hotel rates are sold as non-refundable — you can still cancel, but the payment is not returned. These components will be flagged on your quote before you confirm.

How to cancel or change

Send us a message on WhatsApp, Facebook, or email with your booking reference. We respond within 1 hour during business hours (09:00 – 19:00 Skopje time) and process the cancellation with the supplier immediately.

Refund timelines

  • Cash / bank transfer refunds: within 5 business days of cancellation confirmation.
  • Credit card refunds: 3 – 10 business days, depending on your bank.
  • Refunds for airline-side delays and cancellations follow the airline's own timeline (typically 4 – 8 weeks).

Force majeure

In cases of force majeure — natural disasters, political unrest, strikes, or government-imposed travel restrictions — we work with the supplier to rebook or refund according to the supplier's force-majeure policy. We do not keep service fees in these cases; any money we receive back from the supplier is passed through to you in full.

Disputes

If you believe a refund has been handled incorrectly, contact us and we will investigate within 5 business days. Unresolved disputes can be escalated to the North Macedonian consumer-protection authority. We prefer to resolve everything directly and quickly, because we're a small team and your next recommendation matters.
